踩雷百達翡麗Patek的一則小故事分享 - 手錶

買二手錶的狀況多，但不曉得各位踩過怎樣的雷？後來又是怎麼補救的呢？

以往都是開箱文居多，近來裝潢房子預算窘迫就鮮少衝動買錶了，許久沒發文了，今天想跟大家分享一則我買到百達翡麗的『錶王』的故事...

時間拉回約莫一年多前2021年8月，當時玩錶正在興頭，甚麼錶都想嘗試，偶然在網路上看到PP 5146P，且是有實體店家的，就去賞錶看錶心動不已，因為是單錶所以價格不貴還算能負擔，錶況良好機心乾淨，考慮沒兩天就購入了，購入後也送百達翡麗維修中心花了4萬多送洗油以免買到假的，洗油同時為力求完美也再跟原廠花1萬多訂購了原廠鱷魚皮錶帶，後來11月就順利發了開箱文，到此過程也都很順利沒有任何狀況。

爾後某一天，我無意中發現，奇怪，為甚麼百達翡麗鉑金錶殼特有的6點鐘所鑲的鑽有點歪呀？跟錶面的中心點與6點鐘時標不在同一直線？ 怎麼看都是鑲歪了？ 難道是假錶？ 不可能啊已經在原廠洗過油了怎可能是假的？ 但是一隻牌價將近200萬的百達翡麗頂級鉑金年曆錶怎可能鑽石是明顯鑲歪的？ 最後覺得只有一種可能，我買到QC有問題的錶王百達翡麗中的錶王了....

自從發現鑽石沒有對齊之後，完全被制約，真的回不去了，每次看錶都只會想到『唉，鑽石是歪的』，這支錶本身其他地方再細緻再漂亮也無感了，又因為鑽石是鑲在6點鐘方向朝向自己，每次看錶就一定會看到，真的是滿滿的無奈。雖然是買二手單錶但也不算小數目，也有回去問了當初購入的店家，它們的回覆是

『這個我覺得不是瑕疵喔，手工製作的很難到100%對齊正確』

我也不意外店家是這樣回覆，畢竟我都送原廠洗油回來了都幾個月過去了...

哎呀，難道踩這種莫名奇妙雷真的只能自己吞嗎？雖然單錶價格實惠，但後來對比這支錶的行情，老實說我也不是買特別便宜呀，只能說買二手錶真的還是很多風險呀！這下怎麼辦？

因為保養過幾次PP的錶，認識了武祥百達翡麗維修中心人很好又客氣的陳小姐，只好硬著頭皮向他尋求意見與幫助。我與她討論後決定試試看送去瑞士原廠看看原廠願不願意幫忙處裡，而且人很好的陳小姐也幫我爭取到了手錶保險運費(保值150萬台)由代理商善意吸收，以代理商的立場對於一個買二手錶的顧客能做到這樣真的已經滿分，心中真的超級感謝。

又過了約莫兩個月，總廠收到錶了，給我的答覆是必須要整個錶殼換掉才有辦法處理，而貴重的鉑金錶殼非常貴，單換錶殼非常非常的貴(我沒記錯我聽到要價70~90萬這種數字)，然而原廠也理解這樣鑽石明顯歪斜帶來的困擾，因此願意善意吸收部分費用，結論需要我自負約33萬台幣來換錶殼。

坦白說，這時的我陷入天使與惡魔的抉擇，因為這樣的鑽石沒有完全對齊問題，我也大可丟給錶店大概虧個10-15萬，將問題丟給下一手也就沒我的事了，也不需要再付30多萬去幫百達翡麗解決這支錶王出廠就不完美的問題。可是，因為真心喜歡百達翡麗，我實在不想再害下一個人踩這種雷，這時我決定想辦法看看能否Escalate給百達翡麗高層，將這件事止於我就好，不要再讓這樣的錶流傳下去。

莽撞的我，決定寫封E-Mail給百達翡麗CEO，Mr. Stern先生，至於怎麼知道他的Email Address的，不好意思地說其實我是用猜的，所以我發郵件時根本也不知道他會不會看到，反正也就死馬當活馬醫了，也沒奢望會有回信或反應了，心理抱著最差的結果就是自己繼續戴，以下是我給Mr. Stern的信，因為發信當天是被告知要自費30多萬台幣才能解決，當下又失望又無奈，所以寫得有點魯莽酸溜溜，還好偶像Mr. Stern大人有大量不跟我計較，以下是內容給各位笑一下

Dear Mr. Stern,

I am terribly sorry for bothering you but it’s really hurting Patek’s reputation in my opinion. I really don’t believe this is how Patek responds to a Patek 5146P with defect in a watch case diamond, it’s apparently a QC issue and I was informed just now that I need to pay additional ~11,000 CHF in order to fix the QC issue that Patek made in the first place.

How ironic when I read this article from Patek Magazine… I am not sure if there were any discussion to make sure Patek technicians know how to align the diamond for Platinum case.

This Patek watch is currently in Patek Switzerland I believe, and it’s going to be shipped back to Taiwan since I decided not to pay CHF 11,000 for Patek’s QC issue. I have given Patek the chance to fix this and it’s unfortunate that Patek doesn’t seem to appreciate the voice and decide to ignore how this could potentially hurt Patek’s reputation.

我在6/8日發出此信，沒想到奇蹟出現，6/17我竟然真的收到百達翡麗瑞士總廠的來信，以下是內容

Dear Mr Tseng,

I would like to thank you for your message dated June 8th 2022 addressed to our President, Mr. Thierry Stern. A copy has been forwarded to my attention for investigation and reply.

Our first estimate mentioned the fact that we could not intervene to put the diamond back on the axis. However, after further analysis with our workshop, we will finally be able to remove the diamond, refill the material, drill and replace the diamond.

We are aware that we should have mentioned this work of jewellery, very delicate but possible, in our first analysis and we would like to apologize for this.

If you wish to reconsider your refusal of the first quotation, please be assured that we are looking forward to doing our utmost to rectify this situation.

Considering your disappointment regarding your timepiece which is completely understandable, can I please explain that Patek Philippe watches which are handmade can, on rare occasion, have slight imperfections which we are very grateful to our clients like yourself for bringing to our attention.

大意是總廠因為接獲CEO的指示，重新評估過後認為可以不用換表殼，只需將鑽石重新挖洞鑲嵌即可(技術難度較高)，而且總廠願意免費替我改正這個問題並且附送免費洗油。

天呀，當時收到這封信真是欣喜若狂，超級開心，一來重拾我對百達翡麗信心，對於品質控管以及如何對待客人這些方面，以及我終於解決這顆大地雷不用將來有天萬一我缺錢要我賣掉時還要殘害下一任錶主，真的是太棒了，Mr. Stern從今以後就是我的偶像， You are awesome !

今天順利拿到從總廠修復的錶了(聽說是用精密雷射技術)，看著鑽石完美的對齊著6點鐘的時標，完全看不出有任何修復的痕跡，心裡滿滿的感動與欣慰，總算有個Happy Ending，就花了點時間打打字，跟大家分享這則小故事。
