My Special Job Good afternoon Ladies and Gentlemen. Welcome to Kaohsiung International Airport! Flight 123 to Germany is now boarding at gate 5. I repeat, flight 123 to Germany is now boarding at gate 5. All passengers please report immediately. Oh, no, that’s me! Well before I run, I’ll quickly tell you about the special job that I was just hired for. My name is Belinda and this year, I was just hired by the Taiwanese Government to travel the world and report back with information about other counitries. The best part of this job is that I only have to work for half the year, and I will make loads of money! I know, you don’t believe me, and you think I am crazy, right?? No, not at all. I’m telling you the truth…. because it’s actually very dangerous work. I could even lose my life !!
For example, one day I was traveling to a jungle in Samoa and I ran into a tribe that was living there. I was so scared and my legs were shaking. They started to shout, “ho ga cha ka, ho ga cha ka”, very loadly and they brought me to the fire and were planning to eat me!!!! So, I showed them my Bruce Lee pose… and they weren’t scared. Finally, I took out some pictures of spicy girls and wow, did this grab their attention quickly (as it does for all boys). Suddenly, they were very quiet and the chief said that he would set me free as long as I introduced him to some of the girls. After I promised him, Iwas released. Another one of my weird traveling experiences was Thailand. One day, I was at a restaurant eating my delicious dinner when a “pretty young lady” came to me and asked me out. At least she looked liked a woman, but after hearing her voice, I quickly changed my mind. She also had this little…. I think…..it’s called an adam’s apple? ( women aren’t supposed to have these) This is when I learned a new Thai word ……LADY BOY. OH my God. (*Look at your watch*) Oh no! I’m going to be late and my plane is going to take off without me. I’m off to Germany for another traveling adventure. Until next time……bye bye!!
